RetiredSingles.com is an online dating community designed for 45 and over singles. We provide many tools for our members to assist them in finding the person they are looking for.
Step 1 – Fill Out a Profile
Click on the “Signup” tab at the top of the site page. You will be asked a series of questions about yourself. Please be as honest and thorough as possible so people reading your profile will get a good idea of who you are. It is important to fill out all the fields in the Misc. Info section highlighted with a red asterisk. You can select several criteria in the Lifestyle & Interests section by holding down the CTRL button on your computer and clicking on as many that describe you. For security reasons you should not include any personal contact information in your profile. Do not use your name when choosing your username. It is suggested that your username does not reflect a negative impression.

We manually review every profile and credit card transaction. Profiles containing foul language, nudity, or any inappropriate behavior will be removed from the site and permanently blocked.

Step 2 – Upload Photos
You can upload your Avatar (featured photo) and many photos and albums by clicking on “Photos” at the top of the page. Profiles with photos are viewed significantly more than those without. Professional photos are not needed. In fact, candid, or self-taken photos are often more effective.
Step 3 - Search and Browse Profiles
Click on the “Browse Profiles” tab at the top of our page. By answering all the questions when creating your profile, you will find those with common interests and lifestyle by utilizing the browse feature. You can communicate with other members or simply send a “Greeting” to let someone know you are interested.
Step 4 – Use the Many Site Features Right from your Dashboard
Create your own “Blog”. In our application, a blog is your personal journal that is kept in chronological order. It is often used on dating sites to journal your experiences, hobbies, what you like, and things you don’t like. This journal is then shared, and all that view the blogs can determine which prospective matches have common interests, and lifestyles.
Create your own “Polls”. Our members can set up their own polls and manage them. For instance, a member can set up a poll asking the membership about their favorite color, politics, personal habits, opinions, etc. Based upon how the individual members vote, you can use the results as a factor in choosing a potential match.
Enjoy instant messaging (IM) with your friends. Once you have become a member, you can choose friends to communicate with, as well as chat with online. This is a safe and secure, convenient medium you can use which will allow you to get to know those you are interested in.
As a member, you control your “Privacy Settings.” You can control who views your profile as well as your postings, communication, and many other aspects of your membership.
